Toothaches can be very painful. But while you brace yourself for an appointment with your dentist to find and treat the cause of the toothache, try these simple home remedies to ease the pain:

  • Take 3 cloves and add to 1 tsp coconut oil. Heat the mixture for a few minutes. Let it cool to a lukewarm temperature and apply on the affected area.
  • Take 2 tsp. lime juice. Add 1/2 tsp. of asafoetida powder. Warm and apply on the affected area.
  • Apply nutmeg oil on the area that is paining.
  • Add some finely powdered pepper to clove oil. Mix and apply on affected area to relieve toothache.

Last weekend I had a tingling pain in my gums. My mom advised me to mix salt, turmeric and mustard oil and rub it gently over my gums and teeth. Worked pretty well for me I must say and my pain was gone by Tuesday.

Turmeric

WONDER TURMERIC

  • Eat fresh turmeric (it comes in the shape of ginger) in pieces as salad in breakfast. It will not only strengthen your bones but also keep arthritis/joint pains away.
  • Its regular use has no side effects.
  • If taken over a long time, Turmeric helps you develop power to fight many diseases even cancer.
  • Turmeric is too good for blood and skin.
  • You name a disease and Turmeric has the answer.

Here is my simple formula to keep you away from your dentist for life.

  1. Mix turmeric powder in Mustard Oil (suitable quantity to make a paste)
  2. Burn a little Alum (Phatkari) on hot plate (tawa) and mix the powder in the paste.
  3. Your tooth paste is ready.
  4. Clean your teeth with the help of fingers. You will not have any, just any, teeth problem for life. Even if you have on-going problems with your teeth and even if you are advised for root canal, for example, this paste will eradicate the problem for good.
